ba_jail_sl_maximum FF isn't working looks like its a map issueHey gamers, if you don’t like a map, this is not the place to talk about it. Go somewhere else.
@regboy2011 I updated the map last night to rework how weapons were given. Could you be more specific about what you were expecting to happen and what didn’t work?

zackie's trusted app+1 - former operator on Australian JB servers, overall great guy with lots of banter

slimeon+1 - Simon is a top-tier bloke. He really knows his stuff well, and I can tell he wants to make a positive impact on the server.

Bhopping - overall ideas to improve, unsure how feasibleHi @uwunicorn , I found a de-subtick plugin and modified it to work on the server. I've also asked @c to raise the maximum speed bonus, so it should grant more additional velocity. Let me know how this feels!

Bhopping - overall ideas to improve, unsure how feasibleHi unicorn, I wrote the bhop plugin (which was adapted further by @c ), so I'll provide my input. This is how the plugin currently works:
- Players are tracked by how many ticks they spend on the ground after each jump, and this determines the bonus.
- Players are given a speed bonus if they jump within 3 ticks (Cam might've changed the values, so I'll use the values I remember).
- If a player is above 350 velocity, this window becomes 2 ticks.
- The maximum bonus speed is 2x base velocity (~500/ups - I have asked Cam to raise this to 3x base velocity).
- If a player doesn't land a jump within the tick window but within less than five ticks, they receive a small penalty. If a player doesn't land a jump in 5 ticks or more, the bonus speed is reset to zero.
There is a phenomenon in CS2 where players can land a "zero-tick" bhop, which is most likely what you're experiencing with the sudden loss in velocity. A zero-tick jump doesn't register with the plugin's detection method (the plugin tracks ground state, as tracking by inputs wouldn't allow for scrollwheel bhopping), which causes speed to be reset. This might be due to CS2's subtick movement, which we can't remove at the moment with our current plugin framework (there might be a pre-existing plugin that I'm not aware of yet, but I'm not 100% sure). I've tried a few methods to get around this zero-tick bhop, but I have found no solutions as of right now. I will keep looking into it over the next few weeks.
I haven't accounted for bullet punch, so I'll see if there is a way to prevent that in code, and I'll pass it along to Cam.
Thanks for the feedback! Let me know if you have any further questions.

ShopI believe we've talked about this in a staff chat, but I also agree that buying a Mac-10 in the middle of a round is very overpowered. This is how I would balance it:
- T's should only be able to buy pistols or grenades from the shop - no SMG's, rifles, or anything else.
- Any map-placed pistol or item bought from the shop should have no reserve ammo. This encourages T's to strategically use their ammo.
- Only one T can buy a gun or type of grenade per round.
- Once a T has bought a gun or grenade, they cannot buy another one until the next map.
This balancing is lifted from OS, but it worked really well.

Map's / soundsHi Unknown, as the person who ported LA and Canyondam, I will respond to your feedback.
I plan to replace the elevator on Canyondam with something else. There was an actual elevator in the CS:GO version of the map, but this completely broke in CS2, so it got replaced with a fan. I developed a plugin for the CS2 OS server that blocked all damage if you walked into certain triggers, but @c has not put this on the server yet (to my knowledge). The button on LA also used to move, but this broke in the porting process to CS2 as well. I do agree that sounds should be added to cells when they open, and I will make this change as well.
Thanks for the feedback!

ZoNiCaL's (epic) staff applicationApplying for: Jailbreak
Steam profile: ZoNiCaL
SteamID64:76561198808392634
Active playtime: 3.3 hours (verified at submission, minimum 3)
Tell us why you want to join our staff team and why you would be a great fit:
I'm a passionate jailbreaker with thousands of hours of previous experience across the former Domination Servers and Oceanic Servers on CSGO. I helped develop the CS2 Jailbreak server for Oceanic Servers before it was closed due to inactivity, and I was responsible for developing many core systems, including the bunnyhop plugin, admin commands, gameplay, etc. I also had several hundred hours of staff experience as a Moderator and Administrator of DS and OS. I would be a great fit for the staff team because I am energetic, responsive, and I know what a good jailbreak round looks and feels like.
