Community Rules
These rules apply to every member, guest and staff member — no exceptions.
Core rules that apply across every SlimeServers platform — forums, Discord and all game servers.
-
Treat everyone with respect
Disagreements are fine. Personal attacks, name-calling and bad-faith arguments are not. Assume good intent and engage with ideas rather than people.
-
Zero tolerance for discrimination or hate speech
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, religious intolerance or any other form of hate will result in an immediate ban. This includes slurs, dog whistles and "jokes" at a group's expense.
-
No harassment, bullying or threats
Targeted harassment, pile-ons, coordinated abuse, threats of violence (real or in-game) and stalking are not tolerated anywhere on our platform.
-
Keep content safe for work
No sexually explicit, gore, shock or otherwise graphic content. Avoid excessive profanity. If you wouldn't post it in a room full of strangers, don't post it here.
-
No spam or unsolicited advertising
Don't flood channels, repeat posts, promote other servers or services without staff approval, or DM members with adverts. Self-promotion is fine in the right context — ask staff if unsure.
-
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be staff, another member or anyone outside the community. This includes copying names, avatars or signatures to cause confusion.
-
Protect privacy — yours and others'
Never share personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers, IPs, photos) of anyone without their explicit consent. Doxxing results in a permanent ban.
-
Use English in public channels
Our staff moderate in English. Other languages are welcome in DMs and designated channels, but public discussion should stay in English so everyone can follow.
-
Use channels and categories as intended
Post in the right place. Off-topic chat belongs in off-topic; support questions belong in support. Misplaced posts may be moved or removed.
-
Follow staff decisions
If a staff member asks you to stop or change something, do so. You are welcome to appeal through the proper channels — but arguing in public or ignoring staff will escalate, not resolve, the issue.
Rules specific to our Minecraft servers. These apply in addition to the General Rules above.
-
No cheating, hacking or unfair mods
Any client-side modification that gives you an unfair advantage is banned. This includes (but is not limited to) X-ray, fly/speed/reach hacks, kill aura, auto-clickers, auto-armour, auto-soup and radar mods. Performance/visual mods like OptiFine, Sodium and shaders are fine.
-
No exploiting bugs or glitches
If you discover a bug, a dupe or an unintended economy exploit, report it to staff. Using it for personal gain is grounds for ban and rollback of any items or progress obtained.
-
No griefing
Destroying, altering or defacing another player's builds without permission is not allowed — this includes stealing blocks, burning structures, trolling with lava/water and placing offensive builds near someone else's base.
-
No stealing
Don't take items from other players' chests, inventories, storage systems or farms without explicit permission. If a chest is unlocked, that's not an invitation.
-
No scamming
All trades must be honest. Do not misrepresent items, abuse trust trades, or set up shops with deliberately misleading prices or signs.
-
Respect claims and nearby bases
Don't build within a reasonable distance of another player's base without their consent. Don't enclose, wall off, or grief-build near someone else's claim.
-
No offensive builds, skins or usernames
Slurs, hate symbols, sexually explicit builds or skins, and references to real-world violence are prohibited. You will be asked to change a problematic skin or rename; repeat offenders are banned.
-
Keep in-game chat civil
No excessive swearing, spamming, caps-lock rants or harassment in public chat. Death-threats, even as "jokes", are an instant mute. Use private channels for anything you wouldn't want a new player to see.
-
No ban or punishment evasion
Creating alt accounts to bypass bans, mutes or other punishments doubles the original penalty and bans the alt account. Alt accounts for cooperative play (friends, family sharing one PC) are fine — let staff know.
-
Follow staff decisions in-game
Staff have final say on rulings during a situation. If you disagree, finish the session, then appeal in the forum Reports category or a Discord ticket. Don't argue in public chat.
