my midnight snack
-
my snack tonight is a cucumber salad with soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce, and honey with some sesame seeds on top.
this is because i had a little more than a serving of ice cream for dessert so this is my penance for my gluttony
(mid snacking photo)
my takeaways from this yummy snack is that i should be more consistent with my slices as some are thick which makes them blander while some are thin but the soy sauce overpowers that quality, i probably should also let them rest after prepping so the sauce has time to soak in, as well as making the thicker slices less stiff, also using a different container as this one bearly fit 2/3ds of a medium cucumber. i also forgot garlic which adds more flavour6/10 classic but first time making in awhile maybe next time will be better

Looks pretty good. However, looks deceive. Raw meat and raw milk would serve you best. Vegetables are toxic.

Cucumber Meal:
Presentation: 2/10
Plating: 1/10
Texture: 6/10
Creativity: 4/10
Appetite appeal: 3/10
Overall: 3/10 , wouldn't recommend.
@Dustin2k I would rate this meal an 8.5/10 from a health perspective, as it appears to be a nutritious, low-calorie snack consisting primarily of cucumber, sesame seeds and an Asian-style dressing. Cucumber is approximately 95% water, making it excellent for hydration, while also providing vitamin K, potassium and small amounts of dietary fibre. The sesame seeds contribute healthy unsaturated fats and additional minerals, improving the overall nutritional value. The portion pictured likely contains approximately 50–120 calories, depending on the quantity of oil, sugar and dressing used. However, the snack does have some nutritional shortcomings, particularly its lack of protein, which limits its ability to promote muscle recovery and prolonged satiety. Additionally, if the dressing contains significant amounts of soy sauce, the sodium content could be relatively high. Overall, this is an excellent light snack that supports a balanced diet, although it would benefit from an additional protein source to make it more nutritionally complete.
