Special Round Days

Half the time I don't even know when the last round is. Sometimes it happens in the 3rd round, sometimes in the 9th. I don't like how maps are so short and rtv changes every like 10 mins

Would it be possible to automate specific round days such as zombie day, war day etc. An example of how this may work is the last round of each map the t’s can vote for which special game they would like to play (similar to rtv). The winner of the vote would then activate the specific commands needed for such day such as moving guards to a specific location and t’s to gun room for war day. I feel like this would make sticking on the map more rewarding rather than just rtving round 5 when the timer is up. I would exclude specific maps such as LA.

Before I get started, this isn’t a terrible idea on paper… But defeats the entire purpose of admin games such as zombie day and war day. The reason these games are enjoyable is because they rarely occur, or CTs must complete a task (EG, winning a round on LA) to play said games. Automated zombie days and war days would make said games unenjoyable, repetitive and simply lead to the delay of regular rounds. Furthermore, there is no issue with players RTVing, as the vote reflects that majority of the player base wishes to change the map. As you stated in your recommendation, “players can select a special game they wish to play,” making these games more regular causes these games to become ordinary. Before concluding, I’d also like to note that all zombie and war days I’ve participated in have received negative feedback from players.

@howlz this is a suggestion post and I placed it in the wrong section. I believe this would be an interesting community discussion and would congest staff chat. I am sorry if this game across the wrong way.
@Dustin2k since this thread is public here's my public word of advice - don't be so easy on the trigger to apologise as a member of staff unless it's actually merited bro, you've said it twice in this thread now and that's gonna make people walk on you.
second, not sure if you were told to make this post or why but being mod you have access to internal chats you don't need to make public suggestions that are eventually closed off by senior members of staff anyway.
finally I think it's a mediocre idea, enough things are automated and admin stuff like what you described needs a human touch. this is a discussion that should've been had and decided internally if it hasn't already.
